Ralph was born on July 2, 1928, in La Crosse, Wis., to Gilbert and Addie (Gydal) Dybing. He was raised in Houston where he attended high school. Army in Germany, during the Korean Conflict. He was co owner of an auto body shop in Wisconsin and Houston, Minn. degree in industrial engineering from the University of Chattanooga, Tennessee in 1960. On June 2, 1973, Ralph was united in marriage with Marilyn Eskar. Ralph and Marilyn spent many years in Ooltewah, Tenn., where he taught technical education and also worked as a salesman in the western apparel and supplies industry. During his retirement they lived in Houston, Minn., and spent their winters in Tennessee, and he spent the last three winters in Mesa, Ariz. He was a member of Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Houston, First Lutheran Church of Chattanooga, Tenn., and attended Eternal Life Lutheran Church in Mesa, Ariz. Marilyn passed away Feb. 4, 1999. Ralph was also a member of the Antique Car Club in Minnesota, Tennessee, and Arizona, as well as a member of the Houston American Legion Club. In his spare time Ralph enjoyed travel, working on his antique cars and attending car shows, and genealogy. Ralph was able to combine his love of travel and genealogy and located many relatives over the years within the United States, Norway, and Sweden. He also kept in touch and visited relatives, friends, and business contacts in his many travels.
